The Concept
The concept of Unity was born out of market place activity during 1999. This year saw a period of great change within the broker market, with many major finance companies consolidating their stance on broker introduced business.
The consolidation resulted in many "smaller" brokers losing their facilities due to lack of volume. It also made the prospect of establishing facilities as a "new start" broker almost impossible.
The Unity concept provided an innovative method of bringing together these "smaller" brokers as one entity, producing valuable volumes from quality sources. In essence, Unity was proposing to manage these individual "smaller" relationships on behalf of the funders, to the mutual benefit of all parties.
The project was launched in January 2000 and has proven to be a winning formula.
